    I too, am from farm stock. I read your recent editorial in the NYT where you mentioned injury to hands. My brother was a welder out of high school, where he was nearly electricuted and burned to death. That took care of at least 3 fingers. Then he was a chemist, and later, a dairy farmer, where a silage blower did a number on the other hands. There go about 4 more fingers, tips missing, scarred or damaged. There is WAAAAAAYYYY to little of this, your kind of talk in our media-saturated world. It is a true crime that P.O.S. ivy-league snot-nosed pukes get away with what they can and the rest of us suck hind teat.

    Mr. Wilson, have you considered continuing this story, either pick up where this one leaves off or pick up the story a year or even 5years down the road? In the 5 year option we would need a recap of the skipped years but I would love to see what comes next for Lillian, Madison, Carl, all 3 kids and sadly enough I would like to see if Jasper can in anyway redeem himself.

    OH, SO very lovely! I fell in love with kantele in Finland 3 years ago. My husband is giving me one for my birthday! What is the Finnish title for the song you performed before the first break - "Sweetheart" ? I LOVED that one especially! This was so gorgeous!

    Thank you for sharing your life in Finland. Not much different than life in Spooner, Wisconsin where my Dad lives, which is just about 25 miles from Rice Lake that Maija mentioned. Hope to see you back in the States very soon. We miss you!!
